Privacy policy

Purpose and scope

F45 Thermostat Pilot is an internal, owner-operated studio tool. It uses published class schedules and authorized Nest device information to plan and verify coordinated thermostat operation. This notice covers this application and its informational website, not F45’s separate websites or Google’s services.

Information accessed

With the account owner’s authorization, the application accesses Nest Home/structure and device identifiers and labels, connectivity, thermostat mode, temperature setpoints, ambient temperature, Eco status and HVAC status when available. It also reads publicly published studio class dates and times.

The Nest authorization scope permits reading and controlling selected devices. The current pilot workflow is read-only/dry-run; live control requires separate owner approval. OAuth credentials authorize API access and are not displayed on this website.

How information is used

Device information and class schedules are used to calculate operating windows, compare intended settings with actual device state, troubleshoot failures and maintain operational records. Google user data is not sold, used for advertising, or used to train generalized AI models.

Storage and access

Operational schedule data, plans and audit records are processed using Google Cloud services, including Firestore. OAuth credentials used by deployed components are stored through Google Secret Manager; supervised setup may also use restricted local files. Access is limited to authorized operators and the service identities needed for the application. Device information and credentials are not intentionally published on this website.

Google Cloud processes application data as a hosting and storage provider. Cloudflare hosts these public informational pages and may process ordinary web-request information under its own privacy policy. These pages contain no application login, forms or added analytics scripts.

Retention and deletion

Operational records are retained for application operation and troubleshooting; this pilot does not currently promise a fixed automatic deletion period. The owner can request deletion of stored application records and credentials at the contact address below. Deletion is subject to applicable provider backup, recovery and log-retention behavior.

Your choices

The Google account owner can revoke the application’s Nest authorization through Google’s Partner Connections Manager. Revoking authorization stops future authorized API access but does not itself erase records already stored by the application. To request deletion of those records, contact the operator.

Contact and changes

For privacy questions or deletion requests, contact [email protected]. This notice will be updated when the application’s data practices change.
